What to Know Before You Book
Booking with Signature Event Rentals & Coordinating should feel effortless and exciting — because your event deserves nothing less. To help everything go smoothly from first inquiry to final return, we’ve put together a few things worth knowing before you reserve your pieces. A little preparation on the front end means more confidence, fewer surprises, and a beautifully realized event you’ll remember long after the last guest leaves.
1. Understand What’s Included Before You Book
Before you reserve your rentals, please review what is included in your quote and what is billed as an additional service. Your rental pricing covers the items you select for your event, while certain services—such as linen care, delivery, setup, and teardown—may be added for an extra fee.
Linen Preparation: Ironing or steaming linens is not included in standard rental pricing and will be charged as a separate service if requested.
Delivery, Setup & Teardown: Delivery of rental items, as well as setup and teardown, are not included in the base rental price and can be added to your order for an additional fee.
Dinnerware Returns: All dinnerware items must be rinsed and returned clean. If you prefer, you may add delivery, setup, and teardown services to your order for an additional fee to reduce your cleanup responsibilities.
Every event is unique, and we want you to feel confident about what is included in your quote. As you review your estimate, please ask about any services you may need—such as linen preparation, delivery, setup, teardown, or cleanup—so we can tailor your order to your event. Our goal is to keep the rental process clear, convenient, and free of surprises.
2. Availability Can Change — Book in Advance
Rental inventory is limited, and popular items may be reserved well in advance. Browsing an item online doesn’t mean it’s available for your event date. Booking early gives you the best opportunity to secure the pieces you want.
3. Know Your Pickup and Return Responsibilities
Part of a smooth rental experience is understanding the logistics on your end. Depending on your order, items may be picked up from us or arranged for delivery — and returns follow a similar process. Pick up is typically the Thursday before the event and return is the following Tuesday, unless otherwise arranged.
When you receive your rental items, take a moment to inspect them and note their condition. All dinnerware items must be returned cleaned. Items should be returned in the same clean, organized state in which they were received. Proper handling during transport, including careful packing, helps protect the pieces and ensures they’re ready for the next event they’ll help make beautiful.
4. Finalize Quantities and Changes
Guest counts shift, venues change their floor plan, and vision boards evolve — that’s a completely normal part of event planning. We understand that. To help us prepare your order smoothly, the final item count and full payment are due 30 days before your event delivery date or pickup date. If you need to make changes after that deadline, we’ll always do our best to help, but availability and preparation timelines mean we may not be able to accommodate every request.
Last-minute additions can sometimes be accommodated, but they depend entirely on what’s available in our inventory at that point. Building in a buffer — requesting a few extra items as a just-in-case — gives you peace of mind and allows any adjustments to be handled calmly rather than under pressure.
